Debi

Debi

A late-comer to accordion but has played descant, treble and tenor recorder, flute and piano since a child when her first taste of the bright lights of fame was a stint on stage playing bell lyre (a sort of upright xylophone) and bass bugle at the Oxford Gang Show as a teenager! Now enjoys going to folk sessions and festivals and playing for ‘Shire Folk’, ‘Franglais’ and ‘The No 1 Ladies Accordion Orchestra’. She also plays each one of her three accordions regularly in France and England and has enhanced Anglo-French relations by playing the Marseillaise at their annual celebrations on Bastille Day!
